post-partum processes, being able to
accompany this stages in a safe and
respectful way with a human rights
focus. No previous formation or
experience is required.
The objective of the course is to transmit the fundamentals of the Bachue Doula from an intercultural focus that integrates technical, human and ethical perspectives in the accompaniment of pregnancy, birth, and post-partum processes, from a rights perspective. This course of fundamentals puts into dialogue traditional indigenous thought matrices from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the Muisqua people and other originary traditions from Colombia,- that have been translated- with contemporary thought and language and the understanding of woman as a natural, physiological and spiritual being.
¿What themes will we see in the course?
In the course, we will introduce the accompaniment in each stage of the pregnancy, birth and post-partum. All this will be done having in mind and with a traditional toolkit of technologies that allow identifying the particularity of each woman and how to move through her particular reality.
